Many buildings are shut down due to the COVID-19 virus and may be closed or at reduced capacity for months. With the arrival of summer, electric bills will start to increase due to air conditioning needs. What are your plans?

This webinar will discuss both simple and more involved ways to reduce your building energy usage during the shutdown.

Measures to be addressed range from air-conditioning equipment to plug loads to water heaters.  Issues such as building indoor air quality and mold will also be discussed.

Jim Clark, a GPAEE board member and President of Clark Energy, Inc. will be the presenter. His background in energy conservation measures, demand response, and HVAC will enable him to give a comprehensive solution to reducing energy usage in a dormant building. Familiarity with HVAC equipment operations control strategies alone does not address actual building energy usage. Integrating energy conservation techniques and demand response strategies can greatly augment your savings.
